Custom Tag Guidelines

CUSTOM TAG GUIDELINES 

When purchasing and using Custom Tags, you must abide by the guidelines as outlined below or your Custom Tag may be temporarily disabled and/or permanently removed.


I. Custom Tags
1. A custom tag is hereby defined as a tag purchased through the webstore under the 'Tags' category, further specified as the 'Custom Tag' and 'Custom Tag (Global)' packages.

2. A custom tag must not contain any content which violates any of official server rules. This includes (but not limited to) inappropriate content, swear words, foreign language.

3. A custom tag cannot contain any of the following words, or any alterations and/or combination of letters/characters/symbols as defined within this banned word list.

4. A tag must contain word(s) which is readable and is an actual word.
    4.1. The content of a tag must be in the English language as tags are only visible in the main chat which is subject to English only regulations.

    4.2. The content of a tag may not consist of only uppercase characters.

5. A tag may only contain letters A-Z, numbers 0-9 and the following characters:
    !£$€¦%^*()_+=#;:@<>./\|


5.1. A tag cannot contain special characters, symbols and/or icons.
5.2. A tag cannot contain quotation marks (") and/or an apostrophe (').
5.3. A tag may only contain one space character.


6. Every purchase of a custom tag comes with the ability to adjust the tag up to three (3) times from the date of purchase, this can be achieved by either using the /changetag command in-game or by contacting an Owner.
    6.1. Once a tag has been changed, it cannot be adjusted again for a period of two (2) weeks.

7. A custom tag cannot contain more than sixteen (16) characters, this does not include formating code letters/characters or square brackets ([ ]).

8. A tag must contain an opening ([) and closing square bracket (]) at either end of the tag, the brackets must be formatted to be dark gray and bold. (&8&l)

9. A tag may only contain two (2) 'obfuscated' characters (&k) at any position.

10. The content of a tag such as its characters and words must be contained and surrounded by the square brackets defined in rule 8.
    10.1. The only exception to this rule are the 'obfuscated characters' defined in rule 9, which may be placed outside the boundaries of the brackets, however no more than one (1) obfuscated character may exist on either side.

    10.2. If obfuscated characters are placed outside the boundaries of the tag's brackets, they must not be bold. (&l)

11. In the event that a player purchases a custom tag which violates any of the guidelines outlined or a member of the management team finds to be in any violation at their discretion, the tag may be adjusted without notice by a member of the management team. When a tag is adjusted and you are notified, your tag change does not count towards your change limit defined in rule 6.
    11.1. Continued abuse of the custom tag system will result in your tag(s) being taken away from you temporarily or permanently.


Example of a Good Tag:

- Only contains 10 characters of content. (Limit is 16)
- Does not contain any more than two obfuscated characters at either end. (Limit is 2)
- Only contains one space.
- Does not contain any of the banned words.
- Does not contain any content which violates the server rules.
- Contains actual english words.
- Does not contain any forbidden symbols/characters/icons.

UltraNetwork and all members of the UltraNetwork Management team withhold all rights to enforce the regulations and guidelines as outlined above in this category. Upon purchasing a custom tag, you are immediately made in effect of the guidelines and must abide by them at all times. The following guidelines are subject to change at any given time with or without prior notice issued respectively.
